Steamboat Bill Jr.
Buster Keaton battles the unhinged elements of nature in his unmatchable fashion, unleashing a whirlwind of jokes and pranks. BL!NDMAN [sax] accompanies Keaton in all his acrobatics with a strong bespoke soundtrack. For the live accompaniment to Buster Keaton’s Steamboat Bill Jr., Eric Sleichim wrote an original composition that gives a surprisingly fresh take on the film. Besides an eccentric “bruiteurs” task, the saxophone quartet mainly plays a solidly balanced score that, combined with special sound effects, culminates in a stormy soundtrack.
