Lam Gods
This concert is part of the festival Listen to the Lamb!: Flanders Festival Ghent is bringing the Adoration of the Mystic Lamb to life like never before. From Opera Ballet Vlaanderen to the Vooruit Arts Centre, and from CirQ to Democrazy: twelve Ghent-based cultural institutions are asking a colourful group of musicians and artists to translate the twelve panels of Van Eyck’s world-famous masterpiece into music. The result is a diverse range of musical genres and line-ups, from classical music and jazz to electronics and world music, presented as both intimate ensembles and performances and installations. The twelve brand-new performances form a single coherent whole and are staged at the Bijloke site. Visitors can choose their own route between the twelve different acts, with performances spread across the whole site.
