MOLECULE 2022

[drums] + HISK + KCA

MOLECULE is a collaboration project between young composers from KCA (Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen) and visual artists from HISK (Hoger Instituut voor Schone Kunsten Gent), together with the musicians of BL!NDMAN. During a period of one academic year, a composer from KCA works with one visual artist from HISK to create an artwork together.

MOLECULE is an experimental development project with a focus on the interdisciplinary co-creation process, more than an output platform for a finished ‘art product’. The music is performed by one of the musicians of the BL!NDMAN quartets: BL!NDMAN [sax], [drums], [strings] and [hybrid]. As such, they collaborate as an artistic trio: one visual artist, one composer, one musician.
