RE-MIX XXL

Re-Mix XXL is the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra’s annual community project in which various groups without and with musical backgrounds are prepared to share the stage under the direction of Paul Griffiths. Re-Mix XXL creates a meeting place for professional and amateur musicians, young people and adults, and people from different cultures and social backgrounds. In this way, the elitist connotation of classical music is immediately brought down. Some three hundred and fifty Dutch second language course participants, underprivileged organisations, integration students, choirs, amateur associations and music school students take part every year.
