30 JAAR BL!NDMAN
For BL!NDMAN’s birthday, Eric Sleichim is putting together an impressive festive programme that both harks back to its roots and looks to the present with contemporary compositions.
BL!NDMAN’s three quartets will play MINIMAL / MAXIMAL with pieces by Philip Glass, Thierry De Mey, Peter Vermeersch and Louis Andriessen. Following the interval is WATER & FIRE; a new performance of Handel’s Water Music and Fireworks by BL!NDMAN [sax], [drums] and [strings] together with a fully automatic Decap organ.
Thanks to the National Lottery who help make these concerts for BL!NDMAN’s 30th anniversary possible.
